My Role & Impact

As a UI/UX Design Intern, I worked alongside product leadership and developers to design and ship new features, improve existing experiences, and iterate on the product as SeenU's user base rapidly grew.

The Challenge

How might we make SeenU more expressive and engaging while keeping the experience intuitive as the platform scales?

FEATURES

01

Modular Profile Customization

In Development

Giving every user a unique profile through controlled creativity.

How might we give users creative freedom without the complexity of completely free-form customization?

Created a flexible widget system that lets users personalize their profile while keeping customization simple and structured.

  • Add and remove widgets from their profile
  • Reorder widgets to create their own layout
  • Choose variations for widgets like music and galleries
  • Mix & match content to make each profile unique

Currently in Development

Due to confidentiality, final designs and interactive prototypes for this feature cannot be shared publicly.

GIFS + Music

Bringing personality beyond photos and text.

Once profiles became modular, I explored how different forms of media could give users more ways to express their personality.

REFLECTION

Being one of SeenU’s first UI/UX interns gave me a lot of creative freedom and the opportunity to contribute ideas of my own. It was incredibly rewarding to see features I worked on come to life and be used by real users.

  • Creative freedom — I was encouraged to explore, experiment, and bring my own ideas to the product.
  • Real-world impact — Seeing my work go from Figma to a live product was one of the most exciting parts of the experience and watching SeenU grow to 70k+ users!
  • Mentorship — I'm especially grateful to my mentor, Ify, for trusting me with creative challenges and giving me the freedom and opportunities to grow as a designer.
